On March 26, 2019 the personnel of the Experimental Station of Zaidín (CSIC-EEZ) met at the University of Almería with personnel from CMAOT and the Drone Service of the University of Almería to share information on the different samples taken in the pilot zone for each group before and after the prescribed burn. The preliminary results of the vegetation sampling and evaluation of the severity of the burning were presented and there was time to discuss and analyze the points of improvement and possible synergies. It was agreed to schedule a working meeting for the next weeks in which, among other aspects, the “ground truth” will be provided or, what is the same, the interpretation of the field experts on the analysis of the video image.
